User pages in categories

Hello, Spinosaurus' Lair;

Re: Alien (Alien franchise)

Please don't move articles without discussing it first on the talk page. If you look, you'll see that the name of this article was discussed several times and "Alien (Alien franchise)" was the consensus. The creature is credited as "Alien" or "The Alien" in all the films, never as "xenomorph". "Xenomorph" was used as a descriptive term for it in Aliens by one character, and is a scientific classification term, not a name (ie. "it's an insect", "it's a mammal", "it's a xenomorph"). The term was picked up by other writers and used in some of the comics and games, yes, but that doesn't make it the name of the creature. Regardless, you shouldn't move an article without any prior discussion, especially when there's already been a consensus on the issue. --IllaZilla (talk) 19:09, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
