User pages in categories[edit]

Hello, Spinosaurus' Lair;

If you get a chance, could you remove the categories from your user page? Userspace pages are kept out of regular encyclopedia categories, because they're personal user pages, not articles. Thanks, and have a good day! J. Spencer (talk) 03:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(oops; by categories I meant "[[Category:Spinosaurus]] [[Category:Dinosaurs]] [[Category:Reptiles]]"; everything else you had was fine.) J. Spencer (talk) 14:05, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't move articles without discussing it first on the talk page. If you look, you'll see that the name of this article was discussed several times and "Alien (Alien franchise)" was the consensus. The creature is credited as "Alien" or "The Alien" in all the films, never as "xenomorph". "Xenomorph" was used as a descriptive term for it in Aliens by one character, and is a scientific classification term, not a name (ie. "it's an insect", "it's a mammal", "it's a xenomorph"). The term was picked up by other writers and used in some of the comics and games, yes, but that doesn't make it the name of the creature. Regardless, you shouldn't move an article without any prior discussion, especially when there's already been a consensus on the issue. --IllaZilla (talk) 19:09, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • You should also know that you've been confirmed as blocked user User:Goth and Throbb99. As such, you are not allowed to edit this site and all of your edis are being reverted. Please stop creating a mess for others and find another hobby. Thank you. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:05, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cover002.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cover002.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 15:17, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
