Adding newlines
[edit]Hi Span, do you have an explanation why you've made hundreds of changes like this one, which only add or remove a newline? SQLQuery Me! 09:36, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- I have the same question. Your editing history matches exactly the pattern of someone who is gaming the system to gain extended confirmed status. Almost immediately after reaching 500 edits, most of which were additions or removals of whitespace, you have been editing WP:ARBPIA4 covered articles. Is there some other explanation for your editing behavior? Firefangledfeathers (talk) 21:01, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- Span Calari, I share their concerns. Please address these concerns before further editing. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:39, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- I'm afraid if you resume editing before satisfactorily dealing with this, I'll have no choice but to remove extended confirmed status. Thanks. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:44, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Deepfriedokra: Span Calari has resumed editing. Firefangledfeathers (talk) 15:41, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
As promised, I have removed extended confirmed status as you give the appearance of having gamed the system to edit ECP pages in a DS area that requires EC status. Please regain that status contributing constructively in non ECP areas. Thanks. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:29, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@SQL: courtesy notification. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
DS alert , Arab–Israeli conflict , Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel articles
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
