I live in east Central Wisconsin and I enjoy day road trips and vacations. I go to various race tracks in the entire eastern half of Wisconsin from Crandon south to Jefferson/Lake Geneva/Rockford (IL) and west to Wisconsin Rapids/Madison. I've come to Crandon for the past several years to see the fall off-road world championship race. I enjoy taking photographs when I pass through communities and I have photographed much of Wisconsin. I haven't done much in northwest Wisconsin and did a minor amount in northern plus the extreme southeast corner of the state. Anything that you want to photograph is appreciated! Just be certain that you photographed it yourself. There's a companion website to Wikipedia called Wikimedia Commons that exists to store photographs so that the can be used by Wikipedias of all languages (Spanish, German, etc). I'm actually an administrator on both projects, which only means that I can do maintenance items that require a higher trust level like deleting files. It's not a management position and my opinion don't mean any more than anyone else. We recommend that everyone upload photographs to Commons instead of here on the English Wikipedia. I recommend Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license, which is what I use. I like photographing downtown areas of a community. Other items of interest are city halls, libraries, high schools, etc. Another list that we need help on is the National Register of Historic Places listings in Wisconsin. I photographed a place in Mole Lake but the rest of the Crandon area isn't done. Thanks for leaving me a message and feel free to ask me about anything! Royalbroil 12:23, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
