Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:11, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Linking

Hi, I just want to let you know, in regard to edits such as this one, that it is usually not necessary to link common words, especially in book titles and other titles. In general, one should only link to a page if there is something useful for the reader at the end of the link -- so linking to disambiguation pages is usually not helpful. Links to words such as Age or Search or First don't usually add much benefit. Thanks for your attention to this. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:23, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank You very much,I was also struggling with the concept....Skashifakram(UTC)

  • I don't understand why you thanked me, and then went back to link phrases like that again in edits like this one. And in this edit, I wonder what you meant by your edit summary. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 15:59, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
  • I never meant you!I am sorry if you misunderstood me! but I have seen that some people are indulging in unnecessary edits,Thank You again!Skashifakram (talk) 20:35, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

creating redirects

Hey, Skashifakram, I noticed that you just made a bunch of redirects. Thanks! But just so you know, when you create a redirect, you can't have a space in between the "#" sign and the word "redirect"; it'll make the redirect nonfunctional. So, instead of:

# redirect [[Page]]

it should look like:

#redirect [[Page]]

No worries; I went through the four you just made and fixed it. Just, this way you know for the future. Thanks again! Writ Keeper 15:38, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
