Speedy deletion of Skater Girl[edit]

A tag has been placed on Skater Girl, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Welcome![edit]

You may want to create test pages here in your user area. See the links above to see what is possible with Wikipedia (and what you should generally avoid!). Spryde 19:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please do not delete the tags. Use the hangon tag along with the reasoning on the talk page to state why the page should stay. Spryde 19:16, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of I Can Do Better[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article I Can Do Better, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Kurt Shaped Box (talk) 18:45, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of I Can Do Better[edit]

I have nominated I Can Do Better, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Can Do Better. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. A tag has been placed on Work Hard, Play Hard...Bitch!, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

this page does not meet any quality standarts. It's a two-lines-news, but no article (A3). Also the title is just a sentece Avril said in an interview. It's not the real name of the upcoming album (A9, only release date and title of three songs known → no importance yet). If there is any usable content, please move it to Avril Lavigne.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Oli (talk) 16:45, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Avril Lavigne (Avril Lavigne album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that this is the title of Lavigne's next album. Tracklisting appears to be pure speculation. Unable to find reliable sources confirming anything here. Appears to be pure fan speculation.

Fails WP:V, WP:NALBUMS, WP:CRYSTAL.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
