Yeah, thats fine - writing about 18th century reenacting :) I'm sorry that guy labelled you as a bunch of kids, this is normally against Wikipedia policy (WP:CIVIL), but we do get a lot of stuff that is clearly people just messing around and so sometimes people get stressed out, I'm sure he didn't mean it. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. - FrancisTyers 00:59, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Some articles you might want to look at: Historical reenactment, authenticity (reenactment), list of historical reenactment events. - FrancisTyers 00:59, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks. I have a question. I am in the early stages of learning Scottish Gaelic, (saying hi, discussing basic wants and needs, conducting business) and want to help wikipedia expand their gd area. Is there anything I can do as a beginner in the language, or should I stick with english wiki until I become more fluent and more experienced with working in wikipedia? EDIT: Oh yes, and if you don't know much about the gd area, do you know someone who's active with gaidhlig?

There is a Scottish Gaelic Wikipedia here. I'd go over there and ask them. You might be able to add images to articles or categorise articles or something like that until you have more of a hang of the language. As most people find it easier to read before they write a foreign language you might try translating articles or parts of articles from the Scottish Gaelic Wikipedia to the English Wikipedia. Just some ideas, enjoy! - FrancisTyers 01:22, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
