April 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Silver do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dekisugi (talk) 17:22, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What I meant to do was make you aware of Wikipedia's policy regarding external links (here). I am using a semi-automated tool and I used the wrong warning. Regards. Thingg 21:58, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed several of your links to the infomine site as the links appear adv. heavy and seemed to contain limited relevant information. An exception is your link to the infomine article on Langer Heinrich in Namibia, as that was a valid article with detailed info and little advertizing. As you appear to be adding links to the infomine site to a variety of articles, I'd reccommend reading WP:EL, WP:SPAM and WP:COI. Please consider adding content rather than links.
