January 2016[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to 2017 Pakistan Super League, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 02:10, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of 2018 Pakistan Super League for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 2018 Pakistan Super League is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2018 Pakistan Super League until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:38, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Faisalabad Rangers[edit]

Just to be sure, the Faisalabad Rangers team has formed, but will not play until 2018, correct? Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:42, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Pakistan Super League[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with 2018 Pakistan Super League. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 19:35, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Future teams and seasons[edit]

Hi,

If you can prove that a team currently exists or will definitely exist in the future then please provide references to show this. I can't find any for the articles you're currently creating, other than blog posts and rumour. I would suggest very strongly that these articles for possible future PSL teams need to be deleted as quickly as possible. To be frank, what you're currently doing is rather disruptive to the project as a whole and brings Wikipedia into some disrepute. Maybe slow down and talk about what might be worth creating instead.

I've prodded Sialkot Smashers in the meantime. I'll probably do so later to the other team articles you're creating.

Thanks Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:53, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Sialkot Smashers‎[edit]

The article Sialkot Smashers‎ has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Stop reverting[edit]

As per the discussion, 2017 Pakistan Super League must be redirected for now. So don't revert my edit. Umais Bin Sajjad (talk) 03:59, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You've just done the same thing again. Stop it please - until there are actual dates and plans set in stone it'd be much better to leave the speculation out of it. Thanks and all. Blue Square Thing (talk) 14:08, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
