Thanks for your concern. I accidentally left the citation criteria. But what the truth, as the direct decendants of Kamadeva's brother Dhamdeva Singh, we know is that none of the ibid named emperors are Kanyakubja Brahmins. Jayarajadeva ,Dhamadeva, Kamadeva and Vikrampratapadeva are the bloodlineal heirs of the throne of Vijayapur Sikri , established by the Sikarwar Rajput clan. They are , according to the folks prevalent in UP and MP as well as according to historians , the pure blooded descendants of Sikarwar dynasty and thence SIKARWAR Rajput. Feel free to query more if you still have doubts. Shri Amit Kumar Singh (talk) 08:47, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Shri Amit Kumar Singh whatever you are saying is your own POV and not supported by any sources. I request you to back your claims by reliable source. As per of Now, i haven't been through any source which claims Maharaja Kam Dev was a Rajput. The source by Saiyad Hasan Ansari attached in this article calls Maharaja Kam dev Misir and his brothers a Kanyakubja Brahmin who was ancestor of Sikarwar Rajputs and Sakarwar Bhumihars. I hope you understand the difference. Please use article talk page and reach consensus before making any controversial major changes. Bhojadeva (talk) 09:25, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Bhojadeva
What I changed in the article isn't based on some unreliable source or some own imagination. The book you are repeatedly citing of Sayyad Hasan Ansari is the single book I've ever come across that calls Kāmadéva Singh and his brethern as Bhumihār and Kanyakubja Brahmin. It's the sheer conspiracy of the Islamic authors to call out a dispute among Indians by altering the history, changing the whole clan of Hindu monarchs, glorifying the dacoits of Hejaz, Turk, Iran and Afghanistan.
Now regarding your argument of citing reliable information, refer to " Gazipur Gazzetier " of General Cunningham who in his many documents called Kamadeva and Dhamadeva as SIKARWAR RAJPUT. Shri Amit Kumar Singh (talk) 09:55, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
