Metatrons Cube

[edit]

I'll go along with that for now. While the Fruit of life is derived from the Flower of Life and could therefore be somewhat represented by that image--that image was clearly the Fruit of Life. Cheers

Thought it was an elementary particle

[edit]

Thanks for letting me know about the Metatron eytmologies. Looks like you've done a great job with coming up with references! I think it does need a little clean-up, and I'll get to it… when I can. —JerryFriedman 22:50, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. When I saw your edit summary, I thought, "oh, no, somebody's going to add all kind of unreferenced junk about video games," while your edit was anything but that. Nice work. Wyatt Riot 00:23, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, Solitaire is mentioned in my copy of Cryptonomicon (not sure about earlier versions); it's pretty much what got me interested in crypto. (Not that I'm capable of doing anything, just more of a passive learner.)
As for the Masamune entry, I noticed that some of the text isn't displayed as well. I'm thinking there's a problem with the ref tags? Wyatt Riot 00:32, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes made to Satan

[edit]

Just not sure which changes you made to the Satan page. I would also be interested in discussing the page with you. --Rainbow Warrior 00:41, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delay in replying that’s just what you get for not contacting me on my talk page. Though considering how funny your reply was its probably best you didn’t lol. You seem to not have grasped the basics of the Policies and guidelines but I digress. Lets try and wade through your rant, "Sorry to hear you are so biased and narrow minded", if I'm so narrow minded why did I not revert your entire set of edits on sight?
"you have an oppinion[sic] to what, who Satan is" For your information I left the other edits in place because I felt they where a good way of moving the article towards NPOV. The whole POV/NPOV thing is to prevent opinion being an issue. However some of the edits you made where just plain wrong. As for my "big fault" I think you would be wise to direct those words to yourself.
That section you changed was talking about the Book of Job the name used in that book is ha-satan (accuser) if its a title or name doesn't matter because it is talking about one single entity. In this case your changes don't stand up this cannot be taken as anything but one single person/angel or whatever. There for it cannot be taken to be a place, thing or ideal. You cannot say that "Some people feel" because the book cannot be taken any other way but as ha-satan being the name of a single character in the story. In the article "when Satan does appear in the Bible as a member of God's court, he plays the role of the Accuser, much like a prosecuting attorney for God." is fact as laid down by the author(s) of the book of job, not an opinion by a reader. This isn’t an interpretation of what’s written it’s actually their in black and white so does not stand like the other edits you made. You might be able to say in other places that its possible that the name satan isn't a person etc but in this case you cannot misinterpret. Hope that answers your question and I highly suggest that you start treating other editors with the respect they deserve. -- Shimirel (Talk) 21:48, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sarah Bolger Stormbreaker (film).jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sarah Bolger Stormbreaker (film).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I have nominated Archeia, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Archeia. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
