July 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm OlYeller21. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bamboo, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, OlYeller21Talktome 14:24, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Bambusa balcooa. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Growmore Biotech draft article[edit]

Hi Shamil developer. I'll give you similar advise I gave User:Growmore[1]. There's about fifty Beema Bamboo news articles. However, most of them are press releases to Business Line, Market News Publishing, Market Wire, M2 Presswire, etc. There's a few legit reliable source articles, but some of those probably are press release inspired, leaving little reliable source material from which to develop a Wikipedia article on the Beema Bamboo topic. Even for editors who know how to write a Wikipedia article, it would be difficult to wade through the published info about Beema Bamboo to put together a Beema Bamboo article that meets WP:GNG. Growmore Biotech appears to have a better chance of getting past WP:GNG and reliable source info about Beema Bamboo probably could be put in there. You may be able to develop, as a user space draft, a Wikipedia Growmore Biotech article at User:Shamil developer/Growmore Biotech. If you do, you should not use press releases, info from the Growmore Biotech website, etc. as source material or other source material that is connected to Growmore Biotech. If you develop an article on Growmore Biotech that includes enough coverage in reliable sources that are independent of Growmore Biotech (see WP:GNG) and the article includes Wikipedia:Inline citations and is not written in a way to promote Growmore Biotech, Wikipedia editors likely will support inclusion of Growmore Biotech in Wikipedia as a stand-alone article. As for article format, you may want to use a FA-Class or GA-Class company article as a template for how the Growmore Biotech article should look.
While Beema Bamboo seems like a great product, the topics Bamboo and Bambusa balcooa have world wide interest in every country and have information histories that go back as far as when someone first discovered bamboo and bambusa balcooa. Relative to those scopes, Beema Bamboo's role in either bamboo or bambusa balcooa's history or world wide interest would not be a major fact or detail that places the subject bamboo/bambusa balcooa in context. While Beema Bamboo doesn't belong in either the Bamboo or Bambusa balcooa article, Beema Bamboo can find a place within Wikipedia and an article on Growmore Biotech can be that place. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 13:31, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
