Citation Placement

[edit]

Hi Shadoo25,

I noticed you recently added a citation to the Schwerer Gustav page. While the reference seems valuable, its placement at the very top of the article isn't typical on Wikipedia.

On Wikipedia, citations are usually placed directly after the specific sentence or passage they support. This helps readers understand where the information comes from.

Here's the Wikipedia Manual of Style (WP:MOS) and Citing Sources (WP:CS) section that explains this in more detail.

I went ahead and moved the citation to a more relevant location. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about editing or referencing on Wikipedia. There are many helpful resources available, and the community is always happy to assist new editors!

Best regards,

Daniel9247
