Why did you revert this image? I had losslessly optimised it. There is no visual difference.--Drat (Talk) 03:44, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edits to RollerCoaster Tycoon (game) because I considered them test edits. Please do not experiment on articles. If you would like to experiment, please do so in the sandbox next time. Thanks. --BANG! 02:07, 13 February 2007

I reverted your edit to RollerCoaster Tycoon (series) because the game is called RollerCoaster Tycoon, not RollerCoaster Tycoon 1. --BANG! 02:54, 13 February 2007

Hi Sh1900, I appreciate your interest and your work on this list and for instance Anglesey and Saaremaa, you added February 3. 2007 Difference of revisions have actually played. But honestly: Hagatna (please see map in its article!) is the capital of Guam and a probable?? (there is nothing about Hagatna on www.rsssf.com) team from there may not be called a "Hagatna national football team" as you did February 11, 2007 This difference of revisions. Please check your contributions and delete those not appropriate for this list. If you have special references concerning some of the teams, I and some more enthusiastics would be very interested! Place them in the Discussion (Talk:List of men's national football (soccer) teams) or in a newly edited article for an individual team. --Rheinländer 12:59, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Flag of Saint Lucia 1979.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Flag of Saint Lucia 1979.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Flag editing[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

This is your warning about your editing to flag articles as you did recently. Please use the sandbox instead of saving the width experimental images and revert to recent revision. If you did again, you will be penalised for disrupting articles.

And don't simply add stub template in every articles if that is not meet any requirements. See Wikipedia:Article size, articles usually lower than 2kb are only mark as Stub.

If you have problem in editing Wikipedia, please see the "Welcome" with link in top of your talk page to learn how to edit. --Aleenf1 06:58, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image licensing[edit]

When you uploaded Image:Flag of Banaba.gif, you claimed to be the creator of this image. However, it seems that you actually copied this image from another website. Please edit the image description to indicate the actual source and provide a fair-use rationale. Otherwise it will be listed for deletion. -- Sakurambo 桜ん坊 10:59, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:Flag of Banaba.gif[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Flag of Banaba.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Notice

The file File:Flag of Guam 1934.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant to c:File:Old Flag of Guam.svg

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:21, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Seoul Furture Subway.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Seoul Furture Subway.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:13, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
