Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Information icon Hello, I'm Sock. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Avengers: Infinity War, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Age of Extinction edit[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you keep adding a line in Transformers: Age of Extinction about it being a part of the sequel trilogy. You have never added a reliable source for this information and have never left an edit summary explaining why you continue to add it. I would be more than happy to hear your explanation but without more context I can only continue to remove it for the reasons stated here and in my edit summaries. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop adding the production companies until they are officially confirmed. Thank you. Dino Fury[edit]

Hello. Red, Blue, and Pink have been confirmed, but are you sure about Green, Black, and Gold being cast? I don't think the souce you linked for them is reliable. Martinc1994 (talk) 20:37, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The source I linked for them has been right about red, blue and Pink. They've had a proven track record regarding Power Ranger news so I'm confident that they're reliable. Scriptboy12 (talk) 06:32, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That source also said that the entry is the last one, which I doubt it will be. Besides, the casting for those three are yet to be official. Martinc1994 (talk) 21:32, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Justice League (film) into Zack Snyder's Justice League. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 13:05, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I will keep that in mind. Thank you. Scriptboy12 (talk) 05:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Zack Snyder's Justice League, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. JOEBRO64 18:54, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nathalie Kelley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page F9. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ghostbusters and Edit summaries[edit]

Please follow the WP:SIMPLE rules and explain your changes with an edit summary. Please explain your changes on the article talk page, if your changes have been reverted.

In the Ghostbusters franchise article you made the same changes multiple times without any explanation, despite warnings comments in the wiki source explaining that films not yet released should not be added (WP:NFF). Some of the other changes you made might be understandable if you actually explained them. If you have a different point of view I would actually like to hear what it is then maybe we can agree on ways to improve the article but if you do not make any efforts to explain your changes and continue to repeat the same changes that have been reverted by repeatedly then it is just disruptive. Again please explain your changes on the article talk page. -- 109.76.194.173 (talk) 20:34, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! NJZombie (talk) 04:09, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
