If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on In The Godfather Garden: The Long Life and Times of Richie the Boot Boiardo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright, advertising, notability[edit]

Wikipedia cannot hold copyright material, not even in sandboxes or AfC submission pages, not even temporarily. Please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste.

Please note that assertion of permission to use text by someone on the end of a wire is not enough; we have to be certain that the person giving a release has the authority to do so, and that the actual copyright holder understands and agrees to Wikipedia's license terms, which allow any reader to copy, modify and re-use material for any purpose including commercial. For those reasons, a formal copyright release, as described above, is required.

It is very seldom worth making a copyright release, because the promotional tone of a company or personal website is likely to be quite unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is not a notice-board for pinning up promotional material like publishers' blurbs: even apart from the copyright issue, this article would have been deleted as an advertisement.

The notability standard for articles about books is explained at WP:Notability (books), and there is advice about writing about fiction at WP:WAF and general advice about writing acceptable articles at WP:Your first article. If you are connected with the author or publisher, you should also read the guideline on WP:Conflict of interest. JohnCD (talk) 20:43, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mistress[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you had developed this on your user page and added "subst:submit" at the top; but as you put "nowiki" tags around it, that would have no effect. (Nowiki tags are used on the edit screen to allow things to be displayed on the viewing screen without the wiki software actually acting on them).

Your main user page is not the best place for a draft like this, so I have moved it to a sub-page in your user space at User:Samlack/Mistress (advertising agency). If you are ready to submit it, just click the green "Submit your draft" button in the box at the top, and the system will do the rest.

When you want to create another article, a good way is to click on Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title: that will make a draft page like this one for you to work in.

You can use your main user page to say something about yourself and your Wikipedia work, if you choose - it's entirely optional. See WP:UP for advice on that. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:14, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Mistress (advertising agency), a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:31, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
