If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vivek Verma (Singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy Deletion Request Concerns[edit]

Hi there,

Two questions about your recent speedy deletion requests of Maya Rani Paul and Jogesh Chandra Barman

I was wondering why you requested the deletion of Maya Rani Paul for unambiguous advertising? That tag should only be placed if you think that no-one could disagree with you about the content being purely advertorial i.e. there's no worthwhile content. If it's less promotional than that, you can tag it as such or just clean it up yourself.

The speedy deletion you requested for Jogesh Chandra Barman is extremely rare. It should literally be only used if you have a name and can't figure out who he's supposed to be. An article can be very short and still meet our minimum requirements for a stub. Someone can always come along and make them bigger.

In effect - speedy deletes only get a little oversight, so they're really dangerous. Please be extremely careful about your future requests. If in doubt, ask at the Teahouse or an admin for another opinion. Nosebagbear (talk) 21:14, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sakshi Ajitesh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:EVENT - specifically "Routine kinds of news events (including most crimes, accidents, deaths, celebrity or political news, "shock" news, stories lacking lasting value such as "water cooler stories," and viral phenomena) – whether or not tragic or widely reported at the time – are usually not notable unless something further gives them additional enduring significance."

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
