I saw that you created the article about football player Hugh White, then someone nominated it for speedy deletion on the grounds there was no claim of notability, then an administrator rejected the request on the ground that notability was indeed claimed. There is another Hugh White who was a Governor, so I moved (renamed) the article to Hugh White (athlete). I revised it a bit to fit in better with the Wikipedia WP:MOS manual of style, and then I looked for and added online references. I could not find evidence he was considered an All American but his captaining of a uniquely successful national champion team, (550-0) against opponents, who themselves were considered football powerhouses of the day, should mean that newspapers of the day wrote enough about him to provide refs for a good article. Many of those old papers exist only on microfilm, unfortunately. He is in books, but many are unavailable online. He lived and died in New York, but do you have a source for him growing up there?
