Welcome[edit]

Hello, RubySlippersGirl, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Taken In Broad Daylight have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! A tag has been placed on Jessica Heap requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 06:50, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi. Please take a moment and review this section. Bit parts in a small handful of films doesn't necessarily mean that person is notable. I know a gentleman who appeared in some of those old B-grade American International films in the early 60s and he doesn't have an article nor do I feel he's notable enough to warrant one. I've written a few bios which I've linked to my user page. Feel free to review any of them. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:07, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Human Trafficking (TV miniseries), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Shadowjams (talk) 07:31, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Talk:True Crime (1996 film) has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see this page for instructions. Thank you. I have nominated The Secret She Carried, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Secret She Carried. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Joe Chill (talk) 22:40, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrighted content[edit]

Please do not post copyrighted content from a site like IMDb to this site. I've had to delete several of your entries because of this. Furthermore, this is a community effort. I and others have expressed concern over your edits and you've chosen to ignore any attempts at contact. I should tell you that any further posting of any copyrighted text or slightly modified copyrighted text will result in the immediate loss of your edit privileges. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:24, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
