David Choy Buentello

David Choy Bentello is currently a PhD student at Tecnologico de Monterrey

Education

David attended CCHS in San Diego.
During his university studies, he attended Sacred Heart university studying Biology, with a concentration in neuroscience. He was part of the Honors program, minoring in Mathematics and Chemistry as well. He was part of the Fencing Team [1] and the campus radio station, WHRT.
David Completed his Master's in neuroscience at the University of Hartford, doing his Thesis work in Douglas Oliver's lab at UCONN medical center and spending a summer abroad at the University of Salamanca. His work primarily focused on the inferior colliculus [2].
He spent one year at Pennsylvania State University working on neurodegenerative diseases through MRI analysis.
Currently he is a PhD student at Tecnologico de Monterrey, where he is working on organ-on-chip applications for neuron growth.
