Reliable sources[edit]

Hello. I wanted to explain why I reverted an edit you made to Scam baiting. Examples need to be cited to a reliable source, such as a newspaper article. This is how we determine whether they're worth including in the article. Otherwise, the article would fill up with hundreds of people all adding themselves to the article. Katie Holmes edit and comments[edit]

You wrote, "I added a source for her birth date that I’m pretty sure is reliable. Happy now?" I am pleased to see the date attributed to a reliable source.

You wrote, "Stop removing her birth date you troll". I'm not sure how my pursuit of accuracy in articles merits being called a "troll". Content of Wikipedia articles is supposed to be cited to published, reliable sources. Without a cited source, how is a reader supposed to know that December 18, 1978, is actually Katie Holmes' birthday? Eddie Blick (talk) 02:50, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I guess you’re right Rigby4444 (talk) 13:12, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
