Bangles etc. quoting
[edit]Are you adding single quotes to terms expecting them to get special formatting? 'xxx' doesn't, unlike ''xxx'' and '''xxx''', which do (xxx and xxx). You can find the details of formating codes etc. at Wikipedia:How to edit a page. I've removed a bunch of the changes, you should clean up the rest. And welcome to Wikipedia! - And I've removed some more from your edits to John Belushi. Why are you still adding these single quotes? --Spondoolicks 17:34, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Christmas With The Jets (1986).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Christmas With The Jets (1986).jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:03, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:THE JETS Liz Moana 1985.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:THE JETS Liz Moana 1985.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Do not put names into single quotes
[edit]Do not put names into single quotes. Single quotes are not used around names, except sometimes when they are used to indicate that it is not the real name of the person. E.g. you might say - "The lookalikes talent show was a success with 'Britney Spears' giving a particularly good performance". So single quotes are used only in very rare circumstances. You probably won't need them at all.
Do you get it? Don't use single quotes around names. If you use single quotes around names it looks wrong. Because it is wrong. Don't use single quotes around names. --Spondoolicks 10:36, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Rezuleta! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Eugene Wolfgramm - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Waterworld: Children of the Leviathan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable comic. Links are for Waterworld itself
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tikiwont (talk) 22:55, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Eugene Wolfgramm
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Eugene Wolfgramm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Blueclaw (talk) 16:34, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
