[edit]Hi Jasy Jatere.
I will do my best to include relevant sources in the page in the next few days (today was my day off...). I would like to ask you a question : some of the link I added (Anna's shortlisting in Dutch Design Idols competition, or the report on her exhibition in Lyon) have been marked non-conform. But they are part of the sources that could provide notability. Did I put them on the wrong place ?
Thanks, Reggie (talk)
Hi Reggierat,
sure there is a place in wikipedia for designers, but there are some limits to what is covered in an encyclopedia and what is better covered in some other sort of directory. For an encyclopedia, a certain notability of the topic is required. This means that only the most notable designers are covered (and the most notable football players, cooks, criminals, you get the picture). You can find more information here Wikipedia:Notability. It might also be interesting to have a look at WP:NOT and in particular WP:NOTDIRECTORY to avoid future disappointment. I am sure you have put a lot of work into the article, and you seem to understand very well how to write a good article. If you can point out in how far A.I. is noteworthy (awards, prizes, citations, secondary literature), I am sure the article will be a worthy addition to wikipedia. Feel free to get back to me if you have any other questions Jasy jatere (talk) 13:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
