License tagging for Image:2001maniacs.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2001maniacs.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:28m.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:28m.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Terry McAuliffe[edit]

you are attacking someone without presenting all the facts. Wikipedia policy errs on the side of extreme caution re living people. If you present all the facts, including his side of the issue, then we can discuss more seriously whether the issue rises to inclusion. Finally, your entry added a name out of the blue and made no sense.Journalist1983 12:46, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Chris Kobin article needs some major rework in order to avoid having it tossed out. I see you have editing Wiki for about 2 years. It sure ain't easy, is it? The thing to remember when writing about living persons is to document everything you say. Period. A few films listed that are on IMDb do not count... specially since Wiki does not consider IMDb to be 100% reliable. Now if you follow the link to my sandbox, you'll see how I rearranged things, have begun sourcing the statements, and (hopefuly) improved what you have contributed. The bigest hurdle is to establish notability. You'll see that I included a whole slew of external links that indicate that Kobin is worth writing about. Because his career is not fully documented, the projects that do have note have been included in the career section. There's no need to relist them in a filmology section. I found some things online that showed his college yaeras before he turned to producing and writing. What was your own source for the paragraph about his turning down a lawyer job? Where can I find information about his birth and early life? Michael Q. Schmidt (talk) 06:52, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
