Succession boxes

Hi! Thank you for adding the succession boxes to a number of articles. However, I have a few nitpickings, if you excuse me:

  • {{start box}} and {{end box}} should surround the whole list of succession boxes, not each individual one;
  • Adding a {{s-ach}} ("Awards and achievements") as a header to the list of succession boxes, if it was missing, would have been nice;
  • Song titles are written (in Wikipedia) with quotes, rather than in italics (see MOS:TITLE).

That's all. However, please don't be let down by my rant, I still highly appreciate your work. Cheers, Quibik (talk) 19:41, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Succession boxes

Regarding these types of edits, song titles need to be put in "quotes", not italics and the year should not be linked per wikipedia guidelines. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 20:30, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

December 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Click Clack, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. False edits on Austria's Next Topmodel

Please do not add spoilers or false information on the Austria's Next Topmodel articles. regards Shameless (talk) 20:53, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Edit summary

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. Changing dates

How do you explain this edit where you changed the date of the final in the infobox without a source and left the old (wrong) date in the rest of the article? Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:44, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

I know, I looked it up and fixed the article, but it was annoying that you just changed one small thing making the page contradict itself. What's the use changing it if the reader will have no idea what's going on? Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:59, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Big Brother Germany

The iformation you are adding to this article is unnecessary. That information is already in the other 2 tables, you can see there when and why the contestants leave the house. Joaq0 (talk) 13:35, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Mass removal of references

I don't know why on earth you consider it appropriate to remove references from all the 2010 Eurovision articles, and without any sort of discussion. This is severely disruptive editing. ninety:one (reply on my talk) 21:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Lena Meyer-Landrut does Indie-Pop?

Hi there. Thanks for your contributions to the article Lena Meyer-Landrut. could you please provide a source for one of Meyer-Landrut's genres being Indie-Pop? She has only released three songs so far and as far as I have read those have only been called Pop-songs. Janfrie1988 (talk) 22:00, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Keine Notwendigkeit für Entschuldigungen! Be Bold! Oder was meinst du? Janfrie1988 (talk) 15:07, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Tables

Please stop adding points tables to all of the articles. It was decided a year or two ago that we should use prose (writing) to describe them since it is more formal. Also, wikipedia can't be its own source, so please do not link the main contest page as a reference. Also, in the future please do not randomly decide to change hundreds of articles. You need to discuss it first to make sure there is consensus to make such drastic changes. If you would like permission to continue, please start a discussion on the project talk where the community will decide what to do, otherwise undo all of your edits. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:56, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

You can ask here. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 23:38, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Cyprus in the Eurovision song contest 2011

I didn't nominate the article because the information was wrong, I nominated it because there is so little definite information on the subject. See WP:CRYSTAL for further information. Regards, RadManCF open frequency 14:02, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Autopatroller

Hi Redpower, thanks for creating those Eurovision articles. I've made your account an wp:Autopatrolled as I think you are ready for that flag (there is a userbox {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} which you might also be interested in). DSDS 8: The voting problem

Hi Redpower94,

I guess you heard about the DSDS voting problem. I Put the problem under the controversies section. First of all, I would like to get a correct translation from Dr. Fleischman in that section. Would you be able to help translate? The Google translator didn't exatly help me with the translation of what he said. Second of all, could you review the information I put into the controversies section about the voting problem to make sure that there is no problem with the translation. Here is the reference I used for that vting problem. Kingjeff (talk) 00:29, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Saint Vincent and the Granadines at the Pan American Games, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

A page like this already exists

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay.
