Maxine McKew - deleting quotations

I have not seen quotation sections on any other Australian politician page. Also, who chose these "quotations?" What qualifies as a quotation? Recurring dreams 13:41, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

That was very quick - as was your deletion, done 6 hours after you wrote "I will delete if there are no objections". statement". Not sure what sort of timeframe you work within for deletions then. Quotations are common. Anyway you are probably very involved in editing Australian politics articles, and my experience has been there are certain highly motivated editors out there who are unbending in views.

But anyway. First - quotes are from Maxine's career as a reporter, NOT politician. Rest my case. She had a life before Labor! Second I agree most politicians are not quoteable - with some exceptions: Paul Keating, Mark Latham.

Photos

Heya mate, I see you live in the southeastern suburbs. I was just wondering, do you or anyone you know have photos of the massive 1999 hailstorm which went through that region that could be uploaded to Wikipedia under a free license? I'm currently writing an article about it (see User:Daniel/Sandbox/1999 Sydney hailstorm), and would love some images :) If you do, please drop me a note on my talk page; if not, no worries, keep up the great work with northern suburbs articles. Cheers, Daniel 09:19, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

AIV bot reports

Hey, I saw you removed one of your entries to AIV because a bot had already reported it. Well, I've also had this happen, and I don't think there is any harm in leaving the report up, for this reason: when a bot makes a report, it doesn't show a change if you have AIV watchlisted like I do. So, an admin might think there are no reports when, actually, there are a few bot reports sitting there. You certainly have no need to say "sorry" for being vigilant. Keep up the great work. --Bongwarrior 08:49, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks. I usually report with twinkle, so I don't know what's on AIV before I report. I guess there's no harm in keeping reports up there. Cheers. Recurring dreams 08:57, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Please stop editwarring on List of notable converts to Islam

As the title says, please stop revert warring and discuss the issue on the talk page, I have blocked User:Bless sins for 24 hours for being the worst reverter in this case. Thanks. —— Eagle101Need help? 03:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Um, I was the one who reported the edit-warring to WP:ANI? I've also urged users to discuss on the talk page. I've been trying to disambiguate a link and fix up a summary to reflect an article's lead, but if that's too controversial, then I'll stop editing this article. Sajeeb Wazed article

How is an actual magazine that is printed a dubious source of information? Just because it doesn't agree to your views doesn't mean it is dubious. The reference is not a blog or an internet source, but an actual published magazine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kapedkrusader (talkcontribs) 05:56, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi! Please reconsider your vote to delete the article since I do have a copy of the press release at http://www.loopaustralia.com/Director%20Announcement.pdf - it is not hosted on their site (or I oculd not find it) but, that is the media Press release. please reconsider, thanks 203.59.214.40 07:14, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

I wonder who the anon is who removed the PROD and is adding dubious references... Timeshift 05:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

School List AfD's

Hey, nah you were fine. Even if you did "jump on me", it was probably deserved, i went at them like a bull in a china shop, and i will learn my lesson (as pointed out by OIC). Cheers for thinking of me anyway. Appreciated. Twenty Years 13:50, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Clock

Hell no....no way can you use it...unless you let me nom your for adminship (see message above from Wizardman). You're welcome to use it, actually! Just copy the code from User:Giggy/Clock, and change {{#time:l|+10 hours}} so that it reflects your time zone (I'm UTC+10, but you may differ - you might wanna change the timezone link too). Just for the record, I stole this clock from Jmlk17 (talk · contribs · count)...so spread it around somemore :) Giggy\Talk

I appreciate your efforts to make specific changes to improve the article, and explaining them clearly, rather than just chopping out large parts of it as others have been doing. It's nice to see someone giving thought to consensus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexwoods (talkcontribs) 20:42, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Brisbane

As a fellow active watcher of this page, was wondering what you thought of the most recent addition by an IP user about the local asian population (high asian demographics) my personal opinion is the paragraph should be removed and added into the talk page so it can be referenced and peacock/weasel words can be removed. What are your thoughts? aliasd·U·T 08:41, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Revert on Kevin Rudd

Good call on your revert of User:Stirling Taylor's edits. Note the lack of any Edit Summaries and citations. One of the edits alludes to content of the Latham Diaries but doesn't properly reference. Much of the proposed content seemed to suffer from undue weight and POV. --Brendan Lloyd [ contribs ] 10:01, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your review of this article. I've tried to address the points you raised. If there are still any issues, let me know. Cheers. → AA (talk)13:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you now. This article could use in-line references. I've tagged it. Bearian 14:21, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi Recurring dreams. I hope there are no hard feelings over my comments on your Rfa. I wanted to remain as neutral as possible. But I think after reading comments left by others, you will make a good administrator.--Just James T/C 11:57, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
