Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kavyamadhavan.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Kavyamadhavan-1.jpg. The copy called Image:Kavyamadhavan-1.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 07:15, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spam 1[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Pazhassi Raja (film)‎ do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. AdamJWC 07:35, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reuploading images[edit]

Please do not re-upload images that were properly deleted. Instead, list them on Wikipedia:Deletion review if you think they should be recreated. Also, do not claim GFDL on images you didn't create. This is deceptive and inaccurate, and continuing to do so can lead to you being banned from Wikipedia. – Quadell (talk) (random) 18:59, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Kavyamadhavan.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kavyamadhavan.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:30, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

July 2007[edit]

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Hello movie. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. slakr 07:50, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Hello movie. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Xiaphias 08:47, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aug 2007[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Rakhi. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] --Ronz 15:52, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image permission problem with Image:Mission90Days.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Mission90Days.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.12kerala.com/movies/Mission_90_Days/Stills5.asp. I noticed that that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 03:10, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Nattika.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
