Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bayonetta 3, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your draft article, Draft:Hyper Demon

[edit]

Hello, RafaelTLS. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hyper Demon".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 04:07, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dave the Diver

[edit]

If you check {{Video game reviews}}, it says that it recommends avoiding its use in small articles with undeveloped reception sections. I've come to agree with this, as the large template dominates the reception section. It also tends to be used to add a bunch of reviews that aren't in the prose, which is, again, discouraged by the template documentation. People can always go to Metacritic itself if they want to see all the scores that aren't described in prose. I know this last bit is getting really picky, but please don't remove the double-spacing after punctuation. This is allowed by the manual of style, and WP:STYLERET clearly says that "it is inappropriate for a Wikipedia editor to change from one style to another" when two styles are allowed by the MOS. Flipping between different MOS-allowed styles caused endless edit wars back in Wikipedia's early days, which is why we strongly discourage it now. Video game reception sections

[edit]

Please stop adding the {{Video game reviews}} template to reception sections unless you're going to summarize what the reviews say. As MOS:VG says, "Every single-site review source should be used within the reception section. The reviews table supports the text. It is not to replicate the function of external review aggregators." Hawaiʻi

[edit]

Just so that you are aware, the apostrophe like letter in Hawaiʻi is called an ʻokina and should not be replaced with an apostrophe like you did here. ✶Mitch199811 15:44, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ProveIt use

[edit]

Hey—while I like and use ProveIt, I just wanted to make clear that you should be careful about just using it to normalize references on all the big pages, as it does have specific opinions that many editors do not prefer and some pages are already slanted against. Change to capitalization of book titles

[edit]

Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Titles of works#Capital letters says "In titles (including subtitles, if any) of English-language works (books, poems, songs, etc.), every word is capitalized except for the definite and indefinite articles, the short coordinating conjunctions, and any short prepositions. This is known as title case." In this edit, you changed book titles from title case to sentence case, among other changes. I'm wondering whether there was a particular reason for that or whether you were unaware of the guideline. Nurg (talk) 01:59, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
