May 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm ScrapIronIV. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Allison Janney, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! ScrpIronIV 12:40, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Allison Janney, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Brie Larson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 11:42, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Brie Larson does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Greyjoy talk 11:48, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Allison Janney. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ScrpIronIV 17:15, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

June 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Denisarona. I noticed that you recently removed content from Sridevi‎ without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sridevi, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Sridevi's award and honour section[edit]

I removed the awards and honours section coz it's already there in the main article of her filmography so it's better to merge together than displaying them differently RDX451 (talk) 13:49, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

June 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Sridevi. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 15:40, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Jodie Foster. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Also, please read and follow WP:NPOV. Your recent additions were not "neutral" and "uninvolved". GermanJoe (talk) 16:31, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • To clarify the issue a bit: all quotations, even those in the lead section, need proper attribution and an immediate reliable expert source. Also, controversial statements and strong claims should similarly have a direct reference to a reliable high-quality source. Ideally you shouldn't add any unsourced content to avoid future problems and misunderstandings. Hope this helps a bit, but please feel free to ask me if you have any further questions. GermanJoe (talk) 16:56, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Jodie Foster. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:41, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jodie Foster, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Western and Thriller (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

August 2018[edit]

I have blocked this account indefinitely as you do not appear to have the competence required to edit collaboratively here on the English Wikipedia. This was demonstrated through persistent addition of unsourced content, unexplained removal of content, addition of personal commentary and other types of disruptive editing despite of multiple warnings and a previous block over the past three months. To appeal this block, please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. Alex Shih (talk) 07:24, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
