March 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Eagles247. Your recent edit to the page Phillip Walker (American football) appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 18:26, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The transaction has not been officially confirmed by the team, and as I wrote above, your sources are based on anonymous sources. We cannot accept that per WP:SPORTSTRANS and WP:RSBREAKING. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:12, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm fine with the current sourcing and wording of the signing. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:29, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the conversation at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Football_League#Request_for_input for handling NFL transactions, the Derek Wolfe signing has not happened yet and is speculative to include it despite whatever the NFL's media relations account tweeted out. July 2020[edit]

Information icon Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Timo Werner. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:42, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if I caused an edit conflict earlier in the semifinal summary.18abruce (talk) 02:37, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 108th Grey Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
