Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:23, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
Cradle of Filth genres
[edit]Please do not alter the genres of Cradle of Filth albums. A lot of time and effort has gone into debating the most neutral genre possible, and we concluded here that they should be referred to as 'extreme metal' (which, contrary to your edit summaries, is indeed a broad genre term). For further information about these issues, please read the opening statements on the band talk page, here. Thanks for your time. Richard BB 23:47, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
Dani Filth said himself that they were symphonic black metal and how ironic that it says on Wikipedia that extreme metal only defines the certain heavy metal genres black metal, death metal, thrash metal and gothic metal and says it's not a specific genre itself.--<-·'¯'·.Ð駧í©átéÐ ©ó®þ§é.·'¯'·-> (talk) 15:29, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- Dani Filth's opinion is irrelevant: it is considered a primary source, where we base ourselves on secondary sources. Besides, I'm fairly sure that Filth has been outspoken on the view that Cradle shouldn't be given a genre or that no true genres are applicable. – Richard BB 15:34, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Then they aren't music, there has to be a genre for every music.--<-·'¯'·.Ð駧í©átéÐ ©ó®þ§é.·'¯'·-> (talk) 15:37, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- And because Cradle's is such a contentious issue, we simply refer to them as the umbrella term 'extreme metal'. – Richard BB 15:47, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Again, please stop annoying me. I'm not doing any "personal attacks", in fact you're the one who's trying to annoy me intentionally by repeatedly posting your comments on my profile when I've asked you not to. Goodbye, I'll continue to delete your posts if you make anymore. I've came across you people before, you act like you're serious but you're really laughing your head off and doing this to annoy me.
