February 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm GorillaWarfare. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Tobizaru Masaya—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. GorillaWarfare (talk) 01:04, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Proofgin. Just following up on the above message. Thanks for your interest in sumo articles, but I've had to revert some of your other edits for a few different reasons. This information was already in the Asashōryū Akinori article, in the section on his retirement. Similarly on Daieishō Hayato, you added information on his tournament win to the wrong section, about his early career. Make sure you read through the whole article before you start editing, to make sure you're not duplicating anything. I'm concerned by the previously mentioned edit to Tobizaru - I have not seen anything in the English or Japanese media to suggest he has got married. If you add something to Wikipedia it must be backed up by a reliable source. And this this edit to Akiseyama Mitsuhiko was just plain wrong. His stablemaster is Kise oyakata, the former Higonoumi, not Kisenosato. We all make mistakes when we start out, but please have a read of some of the links I gave in the welcome and you'll have a much better time here. Any questions, you can always drop me a line on my talk page. Regards, -- P-K3 (talk) 16:05, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
