"an eye for an eye"

[edit]

Hi there, re: this and this, I don't understand why you're so hung up on the "an eye for an eye" phrasing, but it doesn't make sense in this context. "An eye for an eye" is an expression that calls for revenge, but there's no justification to use the idiom here, unless you're literally talking about two people cutting out each other's eyeballs. We should be explaining things by describing clearly what happened, without using idiomatic expressions. If someone asks "why did Maari paralyse Beeja's legs" the answer isn't "an eye for an eye", the answer is "it was a revenge attack". I've changed the phrasing back, please don't resubmit it without achieving consensus to do so via discussion on the article's talk page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thambi (2019 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bala (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
