Moving pages[edit]

Please never ever move articles without discussion first. Such moves are very ill-advised no matter how certain you are about how good are they, except very few non-controversial cases. As a rule, always propose the moves at talk first. --Irpen 14:12, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Popov, the moves you've made without any discussion have been discussed before with other users and there was consensus that the current names are better because they're most popular in English. In the future, before moving pages please discuss — administrator intervention is now required to move them back. Thanks! TodorBozhinov 21:06, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've had to revert your page moves. Khoikhoi 04:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ivan Alexander of Bulgaria[edit]

It's very naive to think there might be anything wrong with the family tree of Ivan Alexander. This is a featured article, so everything has been checked and reliable sources have been provided. In this case, these are Božilov, Ivan (2006). Istorija na srednovekovna Bǎlgarija VII-XIV vek (tom 1) (in Bulgarian). Anubis. ISBN 9544262040. {{cite book}}: Unknown parameter |coauthors= ignored (|author= suggested) (help) and Božilov, Familijata na Asenevci, pp. 192-235. If you have anything to say about Ivan Alexander's family tree, then please refer to the Bulgarian academic community, and stop doing these ungrounded changes to the article. TodorBozhinov 08:19, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am providing you with a primary source. If you do not know what is primary source look it up. This is a family portrait of Ivan Alexander. This "picture" as you call it was made during his reign and it was kept at the royal library at Tsarevets. It illustrates Ivan Alexander with his second wife and their children. It is currently kept at the British Library. There is no better source then that. And yet you have not provided me with your source, just some citations. On what are based your changes?

Notability of Dorothea of Bulgaria[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Dorothea of Bulgaria, by Erechtheus (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Dorothea of Bulgaria seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Dorothea of Bulgaria, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:58, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Martin Joergensen[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Martin Joergensen, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? 213.237.8.153 (talk) 14:37, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Bulgarian local elections, 2019 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. TheWinRat (talk) 17:42, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2019 Bulgarian local elections, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Britishfinance (talk) 16:37, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Popov 2000. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2019 Bulgarian local elections".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Liz Read! Talk! 16:24, 8 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Line of succession to the former Bulgarian throne has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article not clearly sourced, and question if you can have a line of succession to a former throne.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
