Hi! I created a page for the rapper Zico on June 12, and while the Talk page is still there (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Zico), when I click on the link to the project page, it tells me that the project does not exist. I looked through the deletion log and can't seem to find it there, and it's not up on Wikipedia, so I'm wondering what happened to it--maybe it got moved someplace weird by mistake? I'd appreciate your help. Thank you! Polsygol (talk) 20:43, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]

Hi Polsygol. Articles for Creation pages are created in the "Wikipedia talk" namespace, not in the "Wikipedia" namespace. Don't worry—it's in the right place. There isn't supposed to be a corresponding Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Zico page. I see someone added the {{WPAFC}} template, but that's not supposed to be added to pages until after they've been accepted. GorillaWarfare (talk) 21:09, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Block B/BASTARZ[edit]

Hi, I was wondering if you normally work on the Block B page? I see that you have recently and I was wondering for your input.. I left a message on the talk page asking people whether or not that they think BASTARZ could have their own page. Technically they can.. but no one has ever answered and I was wondering what you would think? I would do so myself but I don't really follow Block B or BASTARZ 100% Alicia leo86 (talk) 03:21, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Alicia leo86:Hi! Gee, I hope I'm doing this right--I haven't tried this before. To answer your question: Yes, I do usually try to keep the Block B stuff up to date (and minus hate).
My feeling is that a BASTARZ page is maybe a little unnecessary? They typically brand themselves as Block B's BASTARZ, and they don't try to market themselves as separate from the larger group (other Block B members will appear at promotional events and the like). A lot of BASTARZ stuff winds up on P.O's page, anyway, since he's been so involved with writing and production.
On the other hand, if you think the Block B page is getting too long and unwieldy, then cutting out the BASTARZ stuff and putting it into its own article makes total sense, since they do perform on their own. I really only work on Block B, so I'm not experienced enough as a Wikipedia editor to make that kind of judgement.
We're also maybe getting to the point where U-Kwon should have his own article? Polsygol (talk) 00:33, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Polsygol: Hey there, I think you did alright. I must admit I'm not really sure either when VIXX's unit debuted last year I just went ahead and made their VIXX LR page and it seems accepted so far. Most subunits don't market them as separate from their main groups so I guess its normal to think that subunits can have their own page especially if you want to shed light on that particular unit and if they have more than one release and perform on their own like Girls' Generation-TTS and Super Junior subunits do and perhaps if they are notable. I think Bastarz could definitely qualify. But since you feel it may be unnecessary there may be no need? and you wouldn't want to give yourself more editing work than you have to? I think it would be your choice, you know Block B and Bastarz more than I do. Alicia leo86 (talk) 08:39, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alicia leo86:Well, given the examples you list, I think it probably is worth doing. It sounds like they intend to continue with Bastarz, so it would get kind of ridiculous if they keep doing comebacks and start touring but don't have their own page. Polsygol (talk) 23:01, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]
@Polsygol: Oh, I agree. lol Would you like me to start the page off for you, or would you like to try it? :) Alicia leo86 (talk) 08:19, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alicia leo86: It sounds like you've got a lot more experience than me--would you mind starting it?Polsygol (talk) 04:49, 10 November 2016 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]
@Polsygol: I wouldn't mind really but you could set it up like I did with VIXX LR, work on it in your sandbox first. I think it's pretty straight-forward. :) Alicia leo86 (talk) 08:48, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alicia leo86:OK, I've got it in my sandbox--can you look at it there?Polsygol (talk) 04:29, 14 November 2016 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]
@Polsygol: Looks great :D All you need now is the references and external links sections and you're set. Alicia leo86 (talk) 04:43, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alicia leo86: OK, that's done--I don't really understand the "V T E" boxes, so I just let those go.Polsygol (talk) 04:30, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]
@Polsygol: They are for the navigation between pages. When you are ready go to you can make the new page. Alicia leo86 (talk) 08:37, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alicia leo86: It's submitted! Thanks for your help! Polsygol (talk) 22:54, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Polsygol[reply]
@Polsygol: You did well. You're welcome. Also, just so you know I've deleted the Bastarz disocgraphy and awards from the Block B pages so its only on Bastarz. There's no need for it to be listed twice. Alicia leo86 (talk) 12:04, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Bastarz[edit]

Hi, I'm Atlantic306. Polsygol, thanks for creating Bastarz!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi, alkpop and soompi are considered unreliable sources by wikipedia so please replace them with other references where possible such as newspapers or mags, thanks

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Citing sources[edit]

Hey there! I’m Alexanderlee, and I’ve noticed that in a few of your recent edits you’ve cited Soompi as a source for the information that you’ve added. Please refrain from citing websites such as Soompi and Allkpop, those websites are not considered reliable. Articles containing Soompi and Allkpop sources should have the sources replaced with reliable sources, although this is going to take some time to complete. You can take a look through WP:KO/RS for a list of reliable sources. Thanks. Alexanderlee (talk) 23:13, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
