Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Telecommunication Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Telecommunication Software and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calltech (talk) 01:17, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Speedy Deletion of telecommunication software article[edit]

Hi Pnetz. Although it may have not been your intent, your article, "Telecommunication Software", read like an advertisement. Here on Wikipedia, we have a policy in which advertising/spam is speedy deleted per deletion criterion G11. Please note that articles for deletion are judged on their own merit, not in comparison to other articles (See WP:OTHERSTUFF). You are certainly welcome to resubmit the article, but please revise the text so that it complies with the policies and guidelines noted at WP:ADS and WP:MOS; otherwise, you run the risk of having the article deleted again. FASTILY (TALK) 04:19, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Using a generic term such as Telecommunications Software to describe a specific software company as was done in the prior article is called search term hijacking and will result in the deletion of this article. If you wish to create an article about Telecommunications Software that describes this technology in a neutral and unbiased fashion and without promoting a specific company, then you are welcome to do so. I concur with User:Fastily and his statements above. Calltech (talk) 03:35, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
