The article Paul Rizzo (Michael Jackson impersonator) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Paul Rizzo just after winning MJ Dance Off 3.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 14:05, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to let you know that your edits have been reverted. Not because they are wrong (I actually agree with you) but because what you added was just opinions. Wikipedis lets people formulate their own opinions. It presents facts. Additionally, any facts you add have to have a citation to go with it. If you can find references for the information you asserted, feel free to add it back into the article. If you need assistance on formatting, let me know.--Esprit15d • talkcontribs 21:26, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Sorry I only just came across this now. I appreciate you letting me know. I can absolutely find evidence and citations for everything I wrote but I have no idea how to format it properly. Help with that would be appreciated. Thanks for making contact (and for agreeing with the truth!) 🙂 Pj2040 (talk) 05:53, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:BLP and Wikipedia:General sanctions/Michael Jackson. Keep making edits like this, and you will be WP:Blocked. Above, a different editor told you why they reverted you. And you came back to do more of the same.

Pinging QEDK and NinjaRobotPirate about this. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 01:36, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

QEDK and NinjaRobotPirate, this editor has been back at it. And then we have Israell coming along and re-adding a bit of the material with a source, as if the Jackson family's claim belongs in this article. WP:BLP is clear. And as for the other BLP-violating material, Israell unsurprisingly left that in. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 04:52, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
From what I can see, this article also needs to be placed under Wikipedia:General sanctions/Michael Jackson. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 04:59, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What happened is that an IP user [1] removed a claim made in the article. Yes, it looked like Wikipedia was making the claim. I therefore added it back in good faith with a reliable source from CTV News. I was honestly not aware that citing his family was BLP-violating material.

A section of the Michael (album) article states: "Doubts over whether the vocals were by Jackson have been raised by his mother Katherine Jackson, his children Prince and Paris,[40] his sister La Toya,[41] his nephews T.J., Taj, and Taryll,[42] music producer will.i.am,[43] and fans.[44]" But I now realize it's an article about a music album as opposed to a biography of a living person. If I understand correctly, according to WP:BLP, claims by family members cannot be made in biographies of living persons? (I am not explicitly seeing that on WP:BLP.) I am asking this in good faith as I am still learning Wikipedia. Thank you. Israell (talk) 05:32, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Flyer22 Frozen: Looks dealt with. --qedk (t c) 21:55, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Israell, yeah, in addition to the unsourced stuff I reverted -- which also was not appropriate in tone -- I don't think that bit is appropriate for inclusion. If Jackson were still alive and it was some claim from Robson or Robson's family about why Jackson lost some deal or whatever, editors would object to it being there. Anyway, I see that there is recent discussion on the article's talk page. I will see what that's about. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 01:02, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
