RE: Username: Gargantuan Media
Hello -
I recently tried to edit the founder of Second Harvest in America John van Hengel's extremely brief bio on Wikipedia when I discovered that the username I have been using for nearly 3 years was recently found in violation of the Wikipedia Username policy.
There was not any email notification for this action.
I'm now indefinitely blocked from editing until this situation is resolved. I'd like to resolve the issue surrounding my User Name and the manner in which my User and Talk Pages where both deleted without any notification.
To re-familarize you with the five types of violations, there are: 1) Real Names 2) Internet Addresses 3) Company/group names 4) Non-English usernames 5) Similar usernames
My name is, indeed taken, from my company's name "Gargantuan Media" which violates rule Number Three pretty clearly. I have a good on-line reputation at Wikipedia with this Username and would like to keep my account and record of edits and contributions.
However, I'm unable to make a User name change request due to the current Edit block by going to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Changing_username/SUL#Simple_rename
I'm unable to request a new user name due to the indefinite block. How can I resolve this issue without the ability to request a new Username or starting a new account?

Also, as I mentioned, it appears as if my User page and Talk pages were both deleted as well my edit block without any notification.

How can I resolve this issue without the ability to request a new Username or starting a new account?
As per direction on this issue, on the 24th of November I sent an email to the Wiki-Admin (AlphaChimp) who found me in violation but I have not recieved any response. I've sent a second email to AlphaChimp today 12/14/09.
