Requested Articles[edit]

Hi, sorry I don't know how to send you a message :/ But you have sent me several messages regarding my edits to the Cap'N Crunch Cereal Page. I just wanted to let people know that the cereal seriously cuts peoples mouths and I feel the world needs a bit of a warning. Hi, im nickrt29, also mentioned in my friends recent post on captain crunch, she has a serious concern about this ceral, so listen. If you dont think captain crunch cuts your mouth you must be the fuck out your mind, that shit hurts. Hi! I am trying to reinvigorate Wikipedia:WikiProject Requested Articles, which, if I get enough pointers that there is some interest, I will re-design, with a design similar to Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors, involving drives, to decrease the number of articles listed in the various subpages, and blue link blitzes, involving editors removing all created pages. I am planning, with sufficient interest, to make requested articles 'stricter', i.e. you have to provide two reliable sources, and write a short note explaining why the requested article is notable. There would be a reward system, involving adapted barnstars, similar to the Guild of Copy Editors have here and here. If you have any questions about my aim, or want to indicate that you would sign up to the WikiProject, please say so on my talk page. Thanks! Matty.007 16:25, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

user block[edit]

I saw this warning/block on user SmartCard America. I wasn't aware that CSD G11 could be used on userpages? I was under the impression that it was to be used on articles. In addition, unless there is something I am not aware of, the user did not edit the articlespace, the username policy only allows for a block if the users have promotional edits in the article space. While I would not necessarily contest your block, I think it would have been smarter to advise the user of promotional and COI policies, and allow them to create the article in their userspace where it could be developed with a non promotional flair. here is a diff for your perusal. Two lizards and a bit about punctuation[edit]

Thank you for creating those two lizard articles. Good work! And just to remind you, please take care with punctuation between sentences: [2][3][4][5] Many thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:01, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

August 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Karunanidhi may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • {{cite web|url=http://www.india-today.com/itoday/17111997/cov.html |title=India Today Cover Story [Jain Commission Revelations: Damning the DMK] |publisher=India-today.com |date= |accessdate=
  • | [[Madras legislative assembly election, 1957|1957]] || Elected || [[Kulithalai]] )

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 06:39, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Rabilizirov[edit]

seems to be a fuller article, so I declined the CSD and sent it to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert Rabilizirov (2nd nomination) DGG ( talk ) 22:13, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Malini Parthasarathy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here.  A m i t  웃   18:19, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion contested: Conseil des écoles fransaskoises[edit]

Hello Pharaoh of the Wizards. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Conseil des écoles fransaskoises, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: This is about a school district. The other article is about the French-speaking group in Saskatchewan. These are two different topics. Thank you. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 01:34, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
