Dan/Danny McClellan[edit]

Thanks for your addition to Wikipedia! I'm pretty sure that your new article on Danny McClellan duplicates an existing article on (what I hope is) the same player under the name of Dan McClellan. The 1952 poll seems like a dead giveaway, let me know by dropping me a note on my Talk page if I've overstepped.

By the way, as a general rule, it's really important that, when you make new Wikipedia articles about people who are or may be still living, that you include references to where you got the information about the person. Even a bare URL or a name of a book and page number put between tags like <ref> and </ref> can greatly improve the chances that the article won't get accidentally deleted--a new Wikipedia policy makes sourcing of new biographical articles of living people a requirement for them to be kept on Wikipedia. Drop me a note if you have any questions, I'm always happy to lend a hand. Thanks again for your contributions to Wikipedia! --je deckertalk 01:25, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission 1952 Pittsburgh Courier Poll[edit]

Hello Pete Gorton. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled 1952 Pittsburgh Courier Poll.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/1952 Pittsburgh Courier Poll}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Insulam Simia (talk) 15:56, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
