Walt Faulkner[edit]

Hi Perilagu Khan. You may have noticed that I have again reverted the changes you made to Walt Faulkner. Both FORIX (subscription site) and www.oldracingcars.com list Faulkner's year of birth as 1920 - do you have a reliable source listing it as 1918? It would also be good if you could provide a reliable source for the other information you added to the article. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 01:43, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply on my talk page. I don't doubt anything you wrote, however Wikipedia requires that all information is verifiable, i.e. supported by reliable published sources. As mentioned above, FORIX and OldRacingCars.com (both of which I would consider to be reliable sources) quote Faulkner's year of birth as 1920. You need to find a published source which supports 1918 as his year of birth. I suggest you contact Richard Jenkins at OldRacingCars.com (his email address is available on this webpage). In my experience Richard is always keen to have accurate information on his site. If you can convince him that your information is correct, and get him to update his site, then you can update Faulkner's article accordingly, quoting OldRacingCars.com as your source. BTW, I have restored the information you added about Faulkner's early life to the article; it's only his year of birth which is at issue. Regards. I've fixed the reference (the "title" parameter is mandatory). Good work! DH85868993 (talk) 01:55, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of watch manufacturers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for May 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Patrick Flynn and David Cho (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
