License tagging for File:David E. Oprava.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:David E. Oprava.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reasons for deletion (or not to delete...)[edit]

I'm sorry, but you cannot just blank an article and call for speedy deletion 'because the subject wants it'. Blanking, unless in cases of attack (which I cannot see here) or copyright violation, is usually taken to be the work of vandals (or someone who is the only editor asking for deletion - not the case here either). I will assume that you are acting in good faith, but would point out that if you do it again it will count as vandalism. There are quite a few people who would like articles about them removed, but I can't see anything upsetting in this one. There are concerns about notability and COI WP:COI, so if you feel the article should be deleted, I'd advise taking it to WP:AFD (Articles for Deletion). I'm afraid that 'he wants it deleted' would probably not be considered a very good reason, as we don't know that. You could try it... Or you could put a {{helpme}} notice here with a question about this. Just copy that bit complete with brackets and paste it at the bottom of the page, then add the question. Not all of us know everything, and it's not a point I've had much to do with. Peridon (talk) 18:39, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:David E. Oprava.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned image with no foreseeable encyclopedic use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
