Feb 2022[edit]

You added this to the article on Kamila Valieva. Please can we have a more accurate citation, which would improve our chances of being able to find it. Ideally, we want:

  • The actual title of the article you are citing.
  • A URL

I have tried looking for it. A Google search produced No results found for nbc "Interview with NBC on closing day of the Olympics".-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:09, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Link added. ErnestKrause (talk) 16:31, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CWW has been used by several editors editing related pages in process of being edited for the Olympics. ErnestKrause (talk) 16:31, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have no objection to this edit at Kamila Valieva. But since somebody else does, please could you provide a justification on the article talk page.-- Toddy1 (talk) 17:31, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Toddy1 It looks like you saw the edit by the new IP editor "212.164.204.102"; many skater articles show pictures of coaches and persona involved in the skater's lives or careers. It seems like leaving it in place for now is useful since that article section is likely to change once the final decisions on misconduct take place in the next 2-3 months. ErnestKrause (talk) 17:54, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You have not understood. The object of the exercise is to avoid edit warring. That is why I asked you to provide a justification on the Talk:Kamila Valieva (the article talk page). Please do so.
If the other editor repeatedly reverts you, we can say that you have made an attempt to resolve dispute on article talk page
You will see that when I reverted an editor this morning, I explained why on the article talk page. -- Toddy1 (talk) 18:55, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

May 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! -- Toddy1 (talk) 08:36, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
