The article Shipping pool has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not written well. no other sources. not enough information.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MazaCoin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. BiH (talk) 19:36, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from MazaCoin, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. (see this diff for a record of this action. Dear Cindy

You made the following comment about a contribution that I made: "Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. (see this diff for a record of this action. Cindy(talk) 06:43, 7 March 2014 (UTC)".

I have looked at the "diff" to try to see what it was that I did with which you find fault, but I cannot see anything that strikes me as untoward, and I cannot in fact see what the particular edit summary was.

Your comment about my contribution implies that my action is inappropriate and that my intention may well have been destructive. I reject these implications absolutely. I am sure you did not intend to impugn my character or cast aspersions on my reputation, and I am always keen to learn. Could you please help me by quoting the passage that you believe that I wrote, state whether you feel it is either inaccurate or inappropriate, and give your reasons, because otherwise I will not have any chance of understand the point that you are trying to make and what, if anything, I should do differently next time.

I look forward to reading what you have to say.

Yours

  • If you view the diff a second time, you will actually see that while you described your edit as "Added link to Oglala Lakota", this was not an accurate reflection of your edit. Your only edit was to remove the speedy deletion template in violation of policy. Deceptive edit summaries of this nature may result in a block of your editing privileges. Best regards, Cindy(talk) 09:37, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for telling me, I appreciate it. However, the fact remains that your comment is unwarranted in that it impugns my reputation and implies my motives were less than honorable. The fact is that it was my intention to add a link to the Oglala Lakota, and it was not my intention to delete the speedy deletion template. It was an error. Your tone of writing feels to me high handed and arrogant, although I am fairly sure that this is neither your intention nor the way that it seems to you. Let me give an example: you wrote "If you view the diff a second time..." In fact I had viewed the diff several times before asking for you to be more specific, and what I find feels to me highhanded is that you write presuming that I have not viewed the diff a second time. Similarly, it feels to me that you assume that what you observed resulted from deliberate intent rather than simple error. A possible reason that I did not see the diff the way that you saw it when I went back to check it is that what I was trying to do was to link to the Oglala Lakota. I made a simple mistake, I apologize for that. I have not checked whether you or any other Wikipedia official has upbraided the person who tagged the entry for speedy deletion in the same seemingly peremptory way that you upbraided me, as it seems that they also made a simple mistake. A little more humility on your part and a little less certainty initially about what the intentions and inner workings of someone else's mind would be welcome. I am very happy to learn to correct my mistakes and to learn how to be a better contributor, I am unhappy to be judged guilty, see my reputation trashed and told what my intentions were before I have had any chance to put my side of the case.

  • The warning was placed in accordance with policy. When all is said and done, the edit summary did not in any way reflect the edit made and the edit that was made was in violation of policy. Nobody is impugning your character in any way. Mistakes happen, it's a given. When mistakes this blatant are made, the templated warning is placed. Consider it a "heads up". At this point, it is highly recommended that you review the guidance offered for edit summaries, along with the deletion policy. Also, please keep in mind that if you are responding to a warning or message on your talk page, you should respond there in order to maintain continuity. And don't ever remove comments from the talk pages of other editors. You are welcome to remove anything from your own page, outside of active block notices. You can even remove my message here. Information icon Hello, I'm Jetstreamer. I noticed that you made a change to an article, EgyptAir‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source.
