Simone Simons

There are several problems with the image you put there:

The image has a copyright symbol, leading us to think the image is copyrighted and with restrictions
We can't verify the kind of license being used because you are linking to the image and not the Flickr page.
There is no way we can verify you are the one who took the picture.
We have several free images at Commons (see commons:Simone Simons), therefore we don't need one with a copyright notice.
Finally, since there are several free images, taking a picture and putting it instead of others available without discussing, especially if it is your own image, is a little uncomfortable. I took several images at a recital, yet decided not to impose any of them until editors decided the current image is just too obsolete that needs to be replaced.

Because of all this, the image has been removed and will be deleted in a week. -- ReyBrujo 20:26, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
