Welcome![edit]

Hello, OnkelCharlie, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Justin Cobbs, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Dinuraeditions (talk) 11:22, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Justin Cobbs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dinuraeditions (talk) 11:22, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, OnkelCharlie. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Karim Jallow, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Karim Jallow to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:45, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Delaney[edit]

Do not add Delaney to Hawks untill official announcement by the club. We only add new clubs when deal is official. Look at Durant and Wade, they dont have new clubs cause still nothing is OFFICIAL.--Bozalegenda (talk) 14:02, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bundesliga[edit]

Do not add just BBL to Bundesliga players... BBL also can be Baltic Basketball League.--Bozalegenda (talk) 13:49, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add Djordjevic and Lucic to Bayern untill deal its not official.--Bozalegenda (talk) 10:56, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Basketball club categories[edit]

Basketball team categories shouldn't be added to player articles until the player appears in a regulation (not preseason or exhibition) game for the new club. I removed Category:FC Bayern Munich basketball players from Reggie Redding. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 15:51, 11 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

what is your problem on the stub template spacing?[edit]

Since you refuse to use an edit summary I have no idea. The space is so the template doesn't crunch up against the current roster template and helps the reader. Why do you feel so strongly that you want to edit war about it? Rikster2 (talk) 16:37, 11 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Player categories[edit]

Hello - Thanks for updating Nick Johnson (basketball). I did want to let you know that long-standing consensus at WP:BASKETBALL is to only add team categories (like Category:FC Bayern Munich basketball players) and related categories (for leagues, expatriates, etc.) after the player has appeared in a game for the team. This is because situations arise where a player signs but never plays for a team (for a variety of reasons). Once Johnson appears in an official game for FCB, feel free to re-add the categories. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 13:12, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Braydon Hobbs[edit]

Hello, just wanted to ask a quick question. What's wrong with the edit/update so that you keep reverting it? Thanks, Zamekrizeni

Hello again, why do you keep deleting the edit I made to the article? Is something wrong with what I added or did I use any inappropriate sources? Zamekrizeni (talk) 07:45, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It would be helpful to add a comment in the edit summary when you are reverting an edit to let people know why you think it is appropriate to do so. Zamekrizeni (talk) 05:36, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, obviously you think that there's something wrong with the edit that I have done, otherwise you would't keep reverting it. Could you please tell me know what I am doing wrong? Did I add any false information? Do I need to add better references? In my opinion, my edit is improving the article, but maybe I'm wrong. Again, why do you keep deleting the work that I have done? Zamekrizeni (talk) 02:06, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

July 2017[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Braydon Hobbs. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rikster2 (talk) 21:38, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Rikster2 (talk) 13:22, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

July 2017[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Braydon Hobbs. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 21:59, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

--Granada (talk) 19:59, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Revert[edit]

Please tell me the reason for the revert. I formatted it and did not delete anything. Kante4 (talk) 15:54, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Same for the BBL article. 12th qualified makes no sense, to what are they qualified? 12th place is ok. An answer would be nice, we can also do it in German if you want. Kante4 (talk) 20:26, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ich hätte nix gegen ne Antwort. Kante4 (talk) 15:34, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018–19 EuroLeague, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2017–18 ABA League (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Bayern[edit]

Also warum ist Bayern "11th qualifeid"? Kante4 (talk) 08:43, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why no answer? Would like to discuss that matter. Kante4 (talk) 19:46, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
