Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Also, I've removed the biographical segment, which is not necessary for an article about the author's play, unless biographical elements have a direct connection to the work, and this connection can be supported by sourced material. Please look at other similar Wikipedia articles. JNW (talk) 21:25, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wholesale deletion of Oleanna

[edit]

Oleanna201,

Please do not delete an article in order to replace it with your own text--others have worked to contribute to an article, and such a massive re-write must be discussed before hand on the article's talk page. Also, I must reiterate that the article is not the place for a biography on Mamet. An article on his life already exists on Wikipedia. I am going to revert to an older version of the article. If you continue to erase it and its sources, without discussing it with other editors, it will be considered vandalism. Thanks, JNW (talk) 04:39, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have come here to say the same thing. Kindly study wikipedia policies and guidelines and look at the way other articles are written. See WP:FA for models. What you are doing is quite unacceptable. See also WP:3RR to avoid edit-warring, which could result in being blocked. Ty 01:20, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
