Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Oldwayslauren, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

I hope this welcome offsets the rather brusque warning about inappropriate pages above! If your page is deleted, you might like to have a look at this page which may suggest why. If you need more help, click on the bit after my signature that says (talk to me!)

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!  —Kim Dent-Brown (Talk to me) 20:04, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I hope that this is OK - this is not meant to be an advert, and you will see that there are several scientific references listed. I hope that I have understood all of the guidelines and rules properly.

I have read through your article and it looks fine in my opinion with some good references. I have added some wikilinks and changed the formatting a little bit to make it more in line with other Wikipedia articles for you. Keep up the good work. Regards. Just a small point to note, you shouldn't sign your article contributions. Signing is only when you are making comments on talk pages and such like. Regards. Will (aka Wimt) 16:59, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Latin American Diet Pyramid, by Kim dent brown, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Latin American Diet Pyramid is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Latin American Diet Pyramid, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Latin American Diet Pyramid itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 21:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Camino Magico has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find any non-trivial discussions about this topic. All book mentions were throwaway mentions in the context of larger discussions about Latin American diet/health in general. Of the two news articles cited but not linked, I was not able to find the Rhor article in the Houston Chronicle archives (or elsewhere), and the Villatoro article (found via Googling the title) doesn't mention the topic at all. The other refs in the article are stats about Latin American health, not about the Camino Mágico itself specifically.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♠PMC(talk) 19:26, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Med Mark has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable symbol that was apparently created and used exclusively by the non-profit group "Oldways", a member of which appears to have created this article. There is not much in the way of reliable sources discussing the symbol, as most of the coverage upon searches is from Oldways' own sites.
