RFA[edit]

Hi Nigel, Someone added your RFA page to WP:RFA, making it "active", but I've undone that. Admins need to have many months (some would say years) of experience, and traditionally have needed thousands of edits. Please take a look at WP:NOTNOW. Thanks for your interest in helping, though. If you'd like, I can delete your RFA page; if, in a year or two, you decide you want to file a new one, it would be silly to consider this one "failed". let me know if you'd like me to do that. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and deleted it. let me know if you have any questions. --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:07, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

D.B. Woodside edit[edit]

Not exactly liking your edit "Corrected that Lucifer is now a Netflix Original as they purchased the show rights from 21st Century Fox." ... it is correct, but misleading, due to the word 'Original' ... and because it did start - originally - on Fox. Perhaps something like "... plays the angel Amenadiel in the television series Lucifer." And leave the details of the change-in-networks out? (The details are in the Lucifer article).

Even that isn't 100%, because Netflix is arguably not 'television'

"... plays the angel Amenadiel in the series Lucifer, seasons 1-3 on Fox television, fourth season produced by Netlflix after purchasing the show"

Your thoughts?

Notice

The file File:CarbonROM Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Roxxon Corporation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Rollback granted[edit]

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. KLDE/KPEP[edit]

Hi Nigel757

This is NOT harassment.

With all due respect to you and the other editors... I have spent the last 50 years of my life as a professional radio broadcaster here in the Western Central Texas area. Any changes to a particular local radio stations' Wikipedia page have been made in good faith and based on my local in-depth personal knowledge of their day to day operations. Your characterization of my well intended updates as 'vandalism' is incorrect and hurtfull.

Please revert your edits to reflect my truthful changes.

Or phone each radio station yourself to confirm my well intended corrections. Once confirmed, please correct as you see fit.

Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.223.214.204 (talk) 03:04, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@47.223.214.204: As noted by two editors here and here, WP:OR needs to be backed up by WP:RS to qualify for inclusion on Wikipedia. You've been informed of this multiple times, via your talk page, and on the talk page of another editor in reply to a comment you made. Also, to be clear, none of the strikes you received from me noted vandalism, they noted uncited additions, and warnings against blantant harrassment of other editors. You received a vandalism strike from an administrator, because you continued to make uncited edits after getting warned about not including WP:RS. Also, this is blantant violation of Wikipedia's CoC against harrassment of editors, and will most certainly lead you to a WP:BLOCK if it continues. Please cite your changes with reliable third-party sources as instructed by multiple people and we can get your changes accepted. :) Nigel757 (talk) 01:32, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
