Difference between copyright and free[edit]

Hi, You seem to be under the impression that images of magazine covers can be uploaded here noting "I made it myself". Such a claim is not valid here - the copyright remains with the publishing company regardless of who uploaded it. Note that all images must have a correct copyright tag (follow the prompts on the upload screen) and all images that you do not own(as you don't own these) must have a fair-use rationale (see non-free content guidelines) - Peripitus (Talk) 10:25, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
