Hi there, re: your recent edits at Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, a few notes:

  1. Section headings should be written in "Sentence case" not "Title Case". Please note the capitalisation difference. So "After 25 Years" is not correct, "After 25 years" would be. "Recurring Cast" is incorrect. "Recurring cast" is correct.
  2. Per WP:TVCAST, we care about the entire history of a television series, not just the most current information. So people who were introduced early in the series should be at the top of either the Main or Recurring cast lists, and "Former cast" is not a valid subsection of cast. Cast members don't stop being of importance just because they've left the series. To that end, Sharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar have been moved back to the Main section.
  3. There is zero justification for your removal of Shivani Tomar from the series line-up, or for the removal of real-world information about Tomar's participation and replacement. The purpose of an encyclopedia is to educate readers on many aspects of the series, not just superficial information like the most currently lineup of cast. Surely if more than one person portrayed a role, that information would belong in the article.
  4. If you plan to edit television articles, you must familiarise yourself with our Manual of Style for Television, as this represents widespread community consensus for how information should be presented in our TV articles.
  5. Lastly, we don't need excessive WP:WIKILINKS in articles, especially for people who have no articles of their own. These are typically represented by red links. See WP:OVERLINK for more information.

Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:54, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I want to know why you remove Shivani Tomar from the cast of Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, when it's clear she did perform the role. What's your excuse for that? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:34, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I can't remove shivani tomar but i put her name in former cast as she was no longer be a part of show now, so her name is in former list like others . Naved952 (talk) 18:42, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In these edits you removed Shivani Tomar and never put her back. Additionally, as I've explained in detail elsewhere on this page, "Former cast" is not a valid section. Encyclopedias don't exist just to tell readers what's on TV today, we're presenting the entire history of the show. So anybody who was in the Main cast should be listed in the Main cast even after they leave. Familiarise yourself with WP:TVCAST and the rest of our Manual of Style for Television. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Sid95Q (talk) 11:21, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, re: this edit, another user has already mentioned that Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. We don't update TV episode counts until those episodes air, and we don't update season counts until the new season begins, because anything could derail the start of a new season or an episode airing. Wikipedia has no deadline, so we are not in a mad rush to update information. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:33, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Naved952: Same case here: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]. Please stop your unconstructive edits. As Cyphoidbomb said, We don't update TV episode counts until those episodes air. Also you added end date without adding any sources and when the show running on the television. Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 19:38, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: Could it have been the 1st where he lives? That said, Naved, we don't use leading zeroes when writing numerals. We write numerals like: 1, 2, 3, 4 ... 10, etc., not 01, 02, 03, 04 ... 010, etc. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:29, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Cyphoidbomb: Well, I know that per MOS:DATE. Thank you, Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 14:34, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
